Job Title: Salesforce Administrator

We are a growing consulting firm specializing in strategic and tactical advisory services for government contractors and grant recipients. Our team of experts, partners with clients across industries to deliver innovative solutions that drive meaningful results. We're looking for a talented Salesforce Administrator to join our team and help optimize our CRM infrastructure to better serve our clients and support our continued growth.

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for implementing (in conjunction with a systems implementation partner), managing, and optimizing a new Salesforce platform for Capital Edge Consulting. The position will be responsible for overseeing the early configuration, management, and administration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud and Pardot. This includes user support, training, data management, reporting and system enhancements, ensuring that Salesforce is effectively supporting the alignment of business operations and growth. This role requires someone who is proactive, organized, and can manage everything simultaneously while maintaining a strong focus on user needs and system functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Complete System Administration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud and Pardot.

  2. Manage the daily operations of the programs, including user setup & training, profiles, permissions, and roles.

  3. Configure and maintain Salesforce features (e.g., workflows, reports, dashboards, and automation rules).

  4. Provide proactive support and guidance to end-users on Salesforce-related issues and best practices.

  5. Provide proper Data Management techniques for clean data within the systems and manage data integrity and perform regular data audits to ensure accuracy.

  6. Allow for Customization and Optimization of the systems by creating custom fields, objects, and page layouts to meet specific business line needs.

  7. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and implement automation to streamline workflows.

  8. Document all processes, policies, and configurations.

  9. Serve as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce-related issues and requests.

  10. Provide solid reporting and analytics by designing and building reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to different teams.

  11. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports for users and leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing, or similar program.

  2. Salesforce Administrator Certification a plus.

  3. Around 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator preferred.

Additional Qualifications we desire:

  1. Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices, functionality, configuration, and customization.

  2. Proficiency in Salesforce reporting and dashboards.

  3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  4. Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and users.

  5. Excellent communication and training skills.

Location:

This position can be based at any 3 of Capital Edge Consulting’s US offices, located in Tampa, FL, Tysons Corner, VA, Pittsburgh, PA, or full time remote with 10% travel.
