Director, Salesforce Administration

Ziff Davis is looking for a highly qualified, highly motivated Director Salesforce Administration.

This role will be part of the Enterprise Applications group and will lead the teams supporting multiple Salesforce Orgs within Ziff Davis. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance teams, you will be responsible for defining the vision and roadmap for salesforce. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for implementing solutions and leading collaboration with different business units. The ideal candidate will be a leader with a great track record of large complex Salesforce projects. This position is fully remote and flexible on location.

Job Duties:

1. Manage current Service Cloud and Sales Cloud environments while assisting with the vision and standards for new Salesforce.com solutions

2. Manage a team of internal and external Salesforce developers and admins

3. Consult on architectural approach with product and development teams

4. Act as a lead for all Salesforce integrations and Salesforce administration

5. Responsible for business and functional analysis, project management and risk analysis

6. Develop and maintain custom data input screens, reports, dashboards, validation rules, and workflow

7. Lead new projects like Salesforce Lightning and CPQ rollout

8. Lead data migration and data cleansing initiatives in Salesforce

9. Assist with the training of new and existing users

10. Maintain system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity

11. Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM, marketing, and sales operations

12. Assist in the design & implementation of APIs and web-based interfaces

13. Lead in developing and supporting integrations with other enterprise systems

14. Develop training materials and train users on Salesforce functionality

15. Work closely with business and outside vendors to provide the support for Ziff Davis’ business teams

16. Work closely with internal and external auditors to meet audit requirements

Qualifications:

1. Over 12 years of experience in the IT industry with a minimum of 6 years as a salesforce lead and architect supporting over 500 users at an enterprise level

2. 8+ years hands-on experience in Salesforce development including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ and Communities

3. Excellent knowledge of the overall Salesforce landscape, Architecture and force.com platform, across Service, Sales, Community, Marketing, Analytics clouds

4. Strong knowledge of Visual force and Apex fundamentals

5. Strong knowledge of Lightning framework and developer console

6. Experienced in Salesforce API integration

7. Strong experience with writing Apex Triggers, Dataloader and custom code

8. Experience working with business and technology leaders to solve complex business and systems problems

9. Experience leading teams

10. Excellent technical and communication skills to interface directly with stakeholders to design and deliver complex solutions

11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

12. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

13. Ability to Multi-task and lead multiple projects

14. Strong troubleshooting skills

Disclosure as required by state laws, the salary for this role has a range from $180,000 - $200,000, a potential bonus, health insurance, and 401K.
