Responsibilities

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for executing day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce platform. To ensure success as a Salesforce Administrator, you should possess extensive knowledge with Salesforce and must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a “hands-on” position and will be responsible for servicing IT ticket requests, auditing work processes, and performing various IT administration tasks in support of the Kaufman business processes built on a Salesforce platform. The Salesforce Administrator must be a critical thinker and problem-solver with attention to detail.

As an integral member of the Application Development team, you will be responsible for assisting businesses in implementing technology solutions in a cost-effective manner by determining the requirements of a request, participating in the solutioning and design of requirements implementation, and communicating results to/obtaining signoff from stakeholders. In addition, you will be the administrator for all the packages and features added on to the base platform. This would include Salesforce, Financial Service Cloud, Salesforce Industries for Insurance (formerly Vlocity), PDFTron and Box.


Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or equivalent work experience

  2. Advanced Salesforce Administrator Certification or equivalent experience

  3. 5 or more years working with enterprise level Salesforce.com instance with at least 1,000 users

  4. Minimum 5 years of experience designing and configuring on 1 or more Salesforce Clouds – Service Cloud/Sales Cloud/Experience Cloud/Marketing Cloud

  5. Strong understanding of Agile/Lean methodologies

  6. Hands-on configuration of new and existing Salesforce.com features including user management, roles/profiles, Permission sets, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validations, workflows rules, email templates, Process Builder, Flows, Lightning Pages, Custom Metadata Types, Custom Settings, Managed Packages

  7. Ability to create Salesforce Reports/Dashboards for business needs

  8. Prior experience Implementing Salesforce solutions in highly regulated industries

  9. Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality

  10. Ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adaption

  11. Proficiency in some combination of the following skills

  12. Proficiency in Jira/Confluence

  13. Salesforce Lightning Experience interface

  14. Salesforce Data tools (Data Loader, Workbench, Schema Builder)

  15. Deploying multiple components (100+) into different environments (Sandbox vs. Production)

  16. Mentoring junior Salesforce resources

  17. Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to explain technology in business terms

  18. Knowledge of the Insurance industry is a plus

  19. Experience in Administration of Enterprise Content Management systems such as Box, Egnyte is a plus
