Salesforce Business Applications Architect

We are seeking a Salesforce Business Applications Architect to join our established architecture team. In this senior role, you will shape the future of our Salesforce ecosystem, leading high-impact initiatives across Sales, CPQ, Billing, and enterprise integrations. You’ll combine strategic architecture with hands-on technical leadership to influence roadmap decisions, mentor delivery teams, and drive innovation in a rapidly growing environment. Working closely with fellow architects, you will help ensure a unified, scalable, and enterprise-grade Salesforce platform.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Lead the architectural design and implementation of Salesforce solutions that scale to meet business needs

2. Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leadership, influencing Salesforce strategy and roadmap decisions

3. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient Salesforce configurations

4. Guide development teams, Salesforce admins, and business analysts in implementing enhancements, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices

5. Ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other enterprise applications using modern integration patterns

6. Provide technical leadership and best practices in Salesforce platform architecture, customization, and development

7. Perform system assessments and optimizations to enhance performance, security, and usability

8. Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and architectural artifacts

9. Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions to empower internal teams on Salesforce best practices

10. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

11. 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architecture or lead role

12. Strong expertise in Salesforce platform features, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and APIs

13. Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Billing, and Sales Cloud

14. Proven experience with integration patterns and middleware solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica) to connect Salesforce with enterprise systems

15. Deep understanding of Salesforce data models, security, and automation

16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable and performant solutions

17. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

18. Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect strongly preferred

19. Preferred qualifications:

20. Experience in Agile and SCRUM methodologies

21. Experience supporting quote-to-cash, billing, or financial process automation

$150,000 - $180,000 a year
