Summary: the Salesforce Administrator is responsible for executing development and customization plans in Client Salesforce instances, providing ongoing administration of client Salesforce instances, and reviewing work completed by other Salesforce Administrators and Administrator Apprentices. 

Type: part- to full-time, approx 30-40 hours per week (nonexempt)

Schedule: Monday through Friday (4 or 5 days/week), approx. 6-8 hours per day (in person)

Compensation & Benefits: $28-$34/hour (DOE), mutually agreed-upon schedule

  1. Available after varying probationary periods: paid sick leave, charitable gift matching, AAA membership, opportunities for flexible and/or remote working hours

Supervision: works under the general direction of and reports to the Senior Consultant & Salesforce Administrator

Responsibilities

  1. Set up and manage Salesforce configurations, which includes creating/updating custom objects and fields, page layouts, record pages, applications, list views, dynamic forms, email templates, user profiles, and flows and other automated processes

  2. Manage Salesforce permissions, sharing settings, and users

  3. Manage and configure the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), Volunteers for Salesforce, and Program Management Module (PMM)

  4. Set up and manage integrations with Salesforce

  5. Monitor and clean up data quality issues in client Salesforce instances

  6. Troubleshoot and recommend solutions to integration and customization issues

  7. Build custom reports and dashboards

  8. Review work completed by and provide feedback to other team members

  9. Clean up and standardize data in Excel

  10. Perform bulk data imports, upserts, and exports

  11. Create and update documentation for clients

  12. Collaborate with other team members to achieve goals and objectives

  13. Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information

  14. Additional responsibilities as assigned

Physical Demands: working at a computer/in front of a screen for extended periods of time, climbing a flight of stairs, ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Environment: our office is located in a quiet residential area, complete with 2 cats.

Travel: less than 15% of your work may require travel. Travel is typically limited to the greater Tacoma area, though sometimes extends to neighboring counties.

Requirements: you must have access to a vehicle or equally prompt method of transportation. 

Qualifications - the ideal candidates have the following skills and qualifications:

  4. Excellent communication skills

  5. High school diploma or equivalent

Required Certifications & Experience

  1. 2+ years of Salesforce administration experience in a professional setting
